What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. It lets the site remember things between page loads, such as whether you are logged in or which class you were looking at. Cookies cannot run programs or carry viruses, and they cannot read other files on your device.
Steluni uses cookies at steluni.com only for the purposes described below. We do not use them to build advertising profiles or to follow you across other websites.
The cookies we set
These are the cookies you will encounter while browsing and booking.
- Session cookie keeps you signed in while you move between the timetable and your booking page. It expires when you close the browser.
- Consent cookie stores your cookie choice so the banner does not reappear on every visit. It lasts twelve months.
- Preference cookie remembers the class level and teacher filters you last selected. It lasts three months.
- Analytics cookie records anonymous page views and referral sources so we can see which pages answer common questions. It lasts thirteen months.
Third-party cookies
Two services we rely on may set their own cookies once you interact with them.
Our payment provider sets a security cookie during checkout to help detect fraudulent card use. It is removed as soon as the transaction finishes. Our embedded map provider sets cookies when you scroll or zoom the map on the contact page; these stay for up to six months and are controlled by that provider's own policy.
Analytics and what we do not do
The analytics figures we collect are aggregated and cannot be traced back to a named person. We do not sell audience data, we do not run remarketing campaigns, and we do not embed social media trackers that follow you after you leave our site.
If you would rather not be counted at all, you can block cookies entirely in your browser settings and the site will keep working. The booking flow may ask you to sign in again after each page, which is the trade-off.
Managing your choices
You can change your mind about cookies at any time.
- Accept or decline non-essential cookies using the banner on the homepage, which appears until you make a choice.
- Clear stored choices under the site data section of your browser settings.
- Use your browser's private or incognito mode if you want a clean session each visit.
- Email steluni@hotmail.com if you want us to confirm what has been stored for your device.
Blocking essential cookies will stop bookings and logins from working, because those features depend on them. Blocking analytics has no effect on how the site functions.
Questions and updates
If something here does not match what you see in your browser, tell us and we will check it. Write to steluni@hotmail.com or call +61 7 5842 9316 during studio hours.
We update this policy whenever we add or remove a tool that sets cookies, and the revision date at the top of the page reflects the latest change.
